Ms. Alice Michiko Noll died December 25, 2006 at her home in Chatham Township, surrounded by her family. She was 30.
Born in New York, NY, she had lived in Mission Viejo, CA., Houston, TX., Summit, and New York, NY before moving to Chatham Township last year.
Ms. Noll was a 1994 graduate of Summit High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College, Amherst, MA. in 1998 with a BA in Asian Languages and Civilizations, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, VA. in 2005.
She was employed with the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld in New York, NY.
She is survived by her loving parents, Robert J. and Tamiko (nee Makino) Noll of Chatham Township; her beloved sister, Angela Maki Noll Penfold and her husband James of Maine; her nephew and niece, Alexander and Eliza Penfold; and seven aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Alice’s life on Wednesday, January 10, 11:00am at the New Providence Presbyterian Church, 1307 Springfield Ave., New Providence. Arrangements are with the William R. Dangler Funeral Home, Summit. In lieu of flowers, kindly make memorial donations to the Alice Michiko Noll 1998 Memorial Scholarship Fund at Amherst College or the Alice Michiko Noll 2005 Scholarship Fund at University of Virginia Law School.
